Scalable low-visibility plate carrierProtection

The Enhanced Modular Body Armor Vest (E-MBAV) is a plate carrier modeled on the Crye LV-MBAV, with two internal armor pockets per plate bag so plates can be worn with soft armor inserts. It is offered with a triple-band elastic cummerbund or a JTAC radio and side armor cummerbund.

    Covert Wear

    Tracer Tactical describes the E-MBAV as a scalable plate carrier for covert or overt applications, designed to be lightweight, comfortable and modular.

    Layered Armor

    Two internal armor pockets let the wearer run ballistic plates together with soft armor inserts, and the tapered plate bags accept MBAV soft armor or standard SAPI inserts.

    Radio Integration

    The optional JTAC cummerbund carries two MOLLE radio pouches and side armor bags for 6x6 inch hard plates or 6x9 inch soft armor.

    Cross-Carrier Compatibility

    The plate bags interchange with Tracer's TIC/TAC/TOW carriers and the Spiritus LV-119, and placard tabs on the cummerbund take any placard.
