Vented ballistic helmetProtection

The AirFrame is a ballistic helmet with an overlapping, vented shell for passive cooling, extended nape coverage and an Ops-Core H-Nape Head-Loc retention system. It can be pre-drilled at the factory for 3-hole or 4-hole NVG mounts and accepts modular ARC rails and ear or face protection.

    Fragmentation Protection

    Crye says the AirFrame was developed to dramatically reduce headborne weight while exceeding common frag threats, weighing less than a complete ACH 2002 while covering more area.

    Passive Cooling

    An overlapping shell design forms an integrated vent that provides passive cooling and can reduce the damaging effects of explosive blast waves.

    Modular Up-Armoring

    Ballistic ear and face protection can be added quickly, and the helmet works with common ear-pro systems such as Peltor and Sordin.

    Night Operations

    Shells can be pre-drilled at the factory for 3-hole or 4-hole NVG mounts, and an ARC Rail system carries accessories.
