Built to survive submersion, drops, and extreme temperatures (IP68-rated and MIL-STD 810 certified), the SRX 2200 gives the law enforcement and government teams 2ATG trains a radio that holds up under the same conditions their gear does. It runs encrypted P25 digital voice with AES/DES/ADP encryption and over-the-air rekeying, adds GPS tracking and geofencing for accountability during an operation, and drops to 0.25-watt covert transmission when low detectability matters more than range.

    Tactical Communications

    Motorola describes the SRX 2200 as a combat radio that combines its Integrated Intra-Squad Radio experience with the U.S. Marine Corps and APX portable performance, so soldiers can coordinate tactical operations in difficult terrain and combat environments.

    Covert Operations

    Settings for covert use include ultra-low 0.25-watt transmission for low detection (UHF Range 1 only) and options to disable lights and tones and dim the display so it stays usable with night vision goggles.

    Secure Voice and Data

    The radio is tamperproof with 256 bit AES encryption and FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validation, and a Tactical Inhibit feature lets an administrator remotely disable a compromised radio.

    Personnel Location

    Bluetooth 4.0 enables Emergency Find Me, where a radio in emergency mode sends a beacon that guides nearby personnel to the user in distress, and GPS/GLONASS supports outdoor location tracking.
