Lightweight 7.62mm medium machine gunWeapons

A lighter M240 (FN MAG) medium machine gun adopted by the U.S. Army, which saves 5 pounds with a titanium receiver and polymer trigger frame. It has a 4 inch shorter barrel than the M240B, a collapsible buttstock and a forward MIL-STD-1913 rail kit.

    Medium Machine Gun

    The M240 family of 7.62x51mm NATO medium machine guns has long been employed by all services of the U.S. Armed Forces, and the M240L is the U.S. Army's lightweight variant.

    Reduced Load

    A titanium receiver and polymer trigger frame cut about 5 pounds, and the M240L adds a 4 inch shorter barrel and a collapsible buttstock.
